Air Transport Projects

Proposed Kabankalan Airport Pre-FS and Masterplan Study: Passenger Demand, Economic and Financial An

The City of Kabankalan was embodied in the State of the Nation Address 9SONA) of the President last July 24, 2006 to be the site of a new airport in the southern part of Negros Occidental.  The City Government in coordination with Air Transportation Office (ATO) had identified the proposed airport site at Sitio Cabangahan, Brgy Hilamoan, Kabankalan City.  The proposed site is situated about 35 meters above the sea leve, generally flat terrain and approximately four (4) kilometers northeast of Kabankalan City.  The proposed airport is 72 kms to Bacolod Airport, 89 kms to Silay (Bacolod Airport) and 90 kms to Dumaguete Airport.

In this regard, TTPI was subcontracted by Schema Konsult to conduct the passengers' interview survey, prepare passenger demand forecasting, economic and financial viability of the said project.
