    Projects - Rail Transport

    C­5 (MRT 10) Ridership Forecast Updating

    Duration: January 2023 – March 2023

    Client: C5 Mass Transit Corporation Ltd. 


    The Ridership Study aims to reestimate the rail passenger demand on the proposed C-5 MRT 10 Project by taking into account the present level of traffic and the impacts of the Covid pandemic. 

    LRT Line 6 A, B & C Ridership Study - Final Ridership Report

    Duration: January 2023 - March 2023

    Client: PMaCS, Inc.

      

    TTPI was commissioned by PMaCS, Inc. to conduct the Ridership Study for the LRT Line 6A, B & C. The scope of work includes:


    • Review of recent urban transport studies for Mega Manila;
    • Review 2018-2022 LRT1, 2 MRT3 and PNR Commuter Services;
    • Conduct transport and traffic surveys
    • Analysis of existing road traffic situation along the corridors of LRT Line 6 alignment;
    • Update future transit network systems and specifications of all future lines.


    LRT Line 1 North Extension (Unified Grand Central Station) Project: Updating of Feasibility Study

    Duration: May 2023 – July 2023

    Client: J.F. Cancio and Associates


    TTPI was commissioned by J.F. Cancio and Associates to update the FS for the LRT Line 1 Extension (Unified Grand Central Station) as part of its unsolicited proposal submission to the Department of Transportation (DOTr). The scope of works includes updating of feasibility study documents such as updates on the ridership forecasts, financial and economic models, and preparation of draft NEDA-ICC forms and matrices for the above-cited Project.

    MRT11 Ridership Forecast Updating

    Duration: November 2022 – January 2023 

    Client:  R2 Builders, Inc.

      

    TTPI was commissioned by R2 Builders to prepare the updating of the passenger ridership for MRT11. This document will be submitted to the Department of Transportation as requirement for the unsolicited proposal submitted by the Client.

    LRT Lines Ridership Revalidation Study LINES

    Duration: October 2019 - December 2019

    Client: Prime Asset Ventures, Inc. 

      

    Review the latest LRT 1, LRT 2 and MRT 3 ridership % statistics to derive planning parameters; Analyze existing road traffic condition and passenger flows along the three proposed PAVI LRT Lines’ road corridors based on TTPI transport and traffic database; Update/calibrate JICA STRADA Transit Model using normalized LRT 1, LRT2 and MRT3 ridership in 2017.


    Update future transit network systems and specifications, including the LRT 1 and 2 extensions, North-South Railway Project, Metro Manila Subway Project, MRT 7, and

    Other rail lines given original proponent status under PPP scheme; Estimate LRT lines’ daily and peak-hour ridership forecasts (public transport and Private car user diversions to rail) by station and direction of flow for agreed opening years, horizon years, and proposed LRT fare structure and determine inputs for estimation of diverted rail passenger travel time savings, bus and

    Jeepney vehicle cost and vehicle time cost savings. 

    North – South Commuter Railway Project

    Duration: January 2018 - March 2018

    Client:  Oriental Consultants Global Co. Ltd for JICA

      

    Preparatory Survey (supplementary) and Detailed Design Study of the North – South Commuter Railway Project (Malolos – Clark) & (Solis – Calamba) in the Republic of the Philippines


    The survey aims to determine the trips over the PNR crossings and to evaluate the impact of the at-grade railway on the road traffic. In order to obtain those data, the traffic count and vehicle occupancy surveys are conducted at the PNR crossings. 

    LRT Line 6 Alternative Section Alignments Ridership Study

    Duration: March 2018 - May 2018

    Client:  Professional Management and Consulting Services (PMACS)


    The study aims to forecast a ridership of an alternative section of LRT Line 6 from: 


    •  Section 1: Dr. Santos Ave to San Nicolas (10.4 km, 8 stations) and Section 2 (Original San Nicolas to Governors Drive); 
    • Section 1: Dr. Santos to Niog (original LRT 1 Cavite Extension Phase 2 and Section 2 (original San Nicolas to Governors Drive); 
    • Proposed Dr. Santos Sucat LRT Line (6.8 km, 6 stations). Provide forecast performance parameters for economic and financial analyses by PMACs experts. Identify risk factors associated with ridership study assumptions and procedures in the forecasting process. 

    MRT 7 Station Options Ridership Study

    Duration: June 2018 - September 2018

    Client: San Miguel Corporation


    The main objective of the study is to forecast the volume of passengers that will be using the LRT common station. 

    Traffic Count and Passenger Load Count Surveys on Three Sites

    Duration: July 2018 - August 2018

    Client:  HFOX Associates


    Traffic Count and Passenger Load Count Surveys on Three (3) Sites Along Buendia Avenue for the Proposed Monorail Project


    The objective of the surveys is to determine the actual vehicle and passenger volume passing along the three sections in Buendia Avenue, Makati City. 

    LRT/MRT Common Station Ridership Study

    Duration: February 2017 - April 2017

    Client:  SMC Mass Transit 7, Inc.

      

    The objective of the study is to assess the current corridor traffic and future MRT 7 common station passenger flows.

    LRT Line 6 Ridership Study

    Duration: March 2017 - May 2017

    Client:  Professional Management and Consulting Services


    The objective of the study is to assess the current corridor traffic and future passenger demand.

    LRT Line 1 and Airport Surveys

    Duration: November 2017 - January 2018

    Client:  HFox Associates for Light Rail Manila Corporation

      

    TTPI was commissioned by HFox and Associates to undertake actual Vehicle Count (VC) Passenger Load Count (PLC), Rail & Airport Passenger OD Interview for the traffic demand forecast for the LRT Line 1 Extension to NAIA.
