Pre-Feasibility Studies of Identified Railway Projects under the 2019 JICA Masterplan Study

Duration: February 2024– August 2024

Client: Ove Arup & Partners Limited for Department of Transportation 


"Follow-up Survey on Roadmap for Transport Infrastructure Development for Greater Capital Region – Phase 1” 

Survey Package No. 2 (2-A, 2-B,2-C): Vehicle Classification and Occupancy Survey

  

The Terms of Reference (TOR) has specified the following traffic surveys to be undertaken by TTPI:


  • Vehicle Count and Occupancy (VCO) Survey


  1. To collect vehicular traffic counts by vehicle type (7 modes) at defined screen line locations and major traffic corridors for 24 hours for one (1) typical weekday and one weekend; and
  2. To collect data on the number of people traveling in different types of vehicles on one typical weekday and one weekend.


The coverage of the survey composed of 109 stations within Metro Manila, Region 4A and Region 3. The data to be collected will be used for the Greater Capital Region (GCR) Railway System.  

Davao City Comprehensive Transport and Traffic Master Plan

Duration: February 2024 – January 2025

Client: Davao City Government 


Consultancy Service for Formulation of the Davao City Comprehensive Transport and Traffic Master Plan, and the Arterial Urban Corridor of Metropolitan Davao.

  

The TOR specified the twin objectives in the formulation of the Metro Davao Transportation Master Plan, notably:


  • Formulate a comprehensive transport and traffic master plan to guide the development of the development of the transportation and traffic management systems of Metro Davao in general, and Davao City in particular.
  • Establish a transportation and traffic database system for effective planning, development and management of the transportation and traffic system of Davao City and the Arterial Urban Transport Corridor of Metro Davao. 

Technical Support and Capability Enhancement on Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) (Re-Bidding)

Duration: March 2023– September 2023

Client: Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 

  

Consulting Services on Technical Support and Capability Enhancement on Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) (Re-Bidding)


TTPI in Joint Venture with BB Engineers Company was awarded a contract to conduct for a Traffic Impact Assessment Technical Support Services. The objectives of the study are:

 

  • Updating of Policy Framework to Expand and Integrate TIA in the DPWH Highway Planning Process
  • Preparation of TIA for Pilot Road and Bridge Infrastructure Projects
  • Consultation on and Dissemination of the Newly Created TIA Manuals  

Capacity Enhancement for Transit Oriented Development in the Philippines

Duration: March 2023 - May 2023

Client: ALMEC Corporation for JICA  

  

Transportation Survey for the Preparatory Study on the Project for Capacity Enhancement for Transit Oriented Development in the Philippines 


TTPI was commissioned by Almec Corporation of Japan to undertake the Traffic Surveys for the Preparatory Study on the Project for Capacity Enhancement for Transit Oriented Development in the Philippines. The transportation survey aims to gather primary data that will later be analyzed to improve the public transportation system and active transportation environment within Transit Oriented Development target areas. 

Ayala Malls Public Transport Connectivity Study

Duration: January 2022 – April 2022

Client: Ayala Land Inc. 

 

The scope of works is:

  • Phase I- Public Transport Coverage of Ayala Malls Feliz, Manila Bay, Cloverleaf and The 30th.
  • Phase II- New Public Transport Routes to Serve Ayala Malls Feliz, Manila Bay, Cloverleaf and The 30th
  • Phase Ill - Implementation Strategy and Action Plan
  • Phase IV - Continuing Advice on Government Queries relative to Action Letters 

Proposed Commonwealth Master Plan Development

Duration: February 2022 – April 2022

Client: VISIONARC 


The objective of the study is to prepare a traffic impact assessment of the proposed development and recommend traffic improvement measures as part of the LGU requirements for locational clearance. 

Traffic and Public Transport Study Update 2022 for Aseana City

Duration: May 2022 - November 2022

Client: D.M. Wenceslao and Associates, Inc.  

  

The study is an update of the previous undertaking conducted by this Consultant in 2019. The objectives of the study are: 

  • To determine the adequacy of the planned road geometric characteristics and projected traffic conditions related to the major roads within the study area, considering volume generated by the various developments.
  • To determine future traffic conditions of the study area based on the proposed land use developments. This will be based on the future development plan for the Aseana City i.e., FAR Development Density Plan.
  • To evaluate the road network capacity of the study area in relation to future traffic volumes for years 3, 6, 9 and 12 and corresponding potential traffic problems.
  • To prepare a traffic management plan to ensure an efficient and safe traffic flow and a responsive traffic management system in the study area.
  • To prepare a public transport route network inside the study area to, include locations of facilities for picking and dropping of passengers. 

Traffic Validation Forecast for NAIAX, Phase 2 Project

Duration: August 2022 - September 2022

Client: SMC-NAIAX Corporation 


The main objective of this study is to forecast vehicular traffic volume on the Project Road once it is opened and assess its impact on affected peripheral links of the existing road network particularly the EDSA/Tramo and NAIA Expressway. 

Buendia Tunnel Traffic Study in Makati City

Duration: October 2022 – December 2022 

Client: Ayala Land Inc. 


The objective of the study is to comply the DPWH requirements to re confirm the economic viability of the underpass project.  

Province of Leyte Local Public Transportation Route Plan (LPTRP)

Duration: Oct 2022 – Mar 2023 

Client: Monolith Construction and Development Corp.  

  

The study has the following main objectives:

  • To determine the current public transport situation in the study area
  • To determine the public transport demand of the study area.
  • To prepare and recommend a public transportation route plan for the study area. 

Local Public Transportation Route Plan for the City of Imus, Province of Cavite

Duration: October 2022 – January 2023 

Client: Maplecrest Group Inc. 


The objective of the project is to prepare a Land Transportation Route Plan for the City of Imus. 

Detailed Engineering Design of Laguna Lakeshore Road Network (LLRN) Project) Phase 1)

Duration: November 2022 – January 2023 

Client: CTII Engineering Co., Ltd (Japan) 

  

TTPI was subcontracted by CTII of Japan to undertake the Laguna Lakeshore Road Network transport data gathering for the proposed ADB-DPWH Study. The surveys conducted are:

  • Traffic Count Survey 
  • Roadside OD Survey 
  • Travel Speed Survey
